Considering the numbers of Nigeria’s music star, Burna Boy, Ghanaians were thrilled with joy when Black Sherif announced the “Second Sermon” remix.
At first blush, no one raised alarms over details of the collaboration as it seemed Burna boy was doing it out of his genuine love for the Ghanaian singer.
Well, the latest information suggests that Burna Boy did not spare the opportunity to look good in the “Second Sermon” remix video.
According to the viral news making rounds, rumour has it that the Nigerian “Ye” crooner’s fishnet shirt, as seen in the video, cost Black Sherif $5000.
For such a large sum of money, the aspiring budding musician could have travelled to other African nations to promote his songs.
A fan on Twitter took to his handle to express his dissatisfaction with a tweet that accuses Burna Boy of not being considerate with Black Sherif.
It is unclear whether or not this rumour has any substance worth investigating, but, of course, there is no smoke without fire.
It is baffling to note that an unusual shirt would cost so much.
The worrying concern now is establishing how much Black Sherif may have paid for the collaboration itself if indeed it wasn’t free of charge.
