Fey enjoys walking and hiking out in nature. "There is no more amazing sound," she captioned a photo from one of her outdoor sessions. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, adds a Stanford University study.

You can also find Fey taking care of her health by reading, a surprisingly healthy habit. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Fey also spends a lot of time dancing, great for her career and her health. "There are reflections that return you to your essence," she captioned one of her posts, showing off her moves. Dancing helps build strength and promote flexibility, aids in weight loss, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Fey makes sure to hydrate. "We are 70% made of water Like our mother earth.. 🙌🏼 Thank you for giving us so much life," she captioned one of her posts. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

In many of her posts, you can find Fey swimming in pools and the ocean, which is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, per the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
