Malheur County, OR (CBS2) — The Malheur County Sheriff's Office is warning residents in and around Brogan Canyon to be prepared to evacuate. According to the Sheriff's Office, the Cow Valley fire is now traveling east quickly toward Brogan and is on both the south and north sides of the highway. The Vale Bureau of Land Management District's last update says nearly 50 homes are threatened and the fire is estimated to have burned at least 16,000 acres so far.
